Cooney Bay is a driftwood hotspot west of Kamloops, BC. Each spring floodwaters deposit tens of thousands of driftwood pieces on the gravel shore. After the waters recede, visitors build driftwood structures for shade, shelter, and fun. This one was particularly tipi-like which speaks to a place in my soul, and I saw a great composition right before my eyes.
