I'm not alone when feeling the pull to a more visceral way of living when I look at historic photos of Indigenous Peoples of North America. Interpreting B/W photos into colour is a journey to a place and time, which I love to experience. It leads to research and the exciting creative task of bringing them all together to work in harmony giving a glimpse of another time. Painted from a B/W photo by Edward Curtis.
